Mar Roxas gave way to Noynoy Aquino in 2010 for Presidency

Senator Mar Roxas II has announced his withdrawal from the 2010 presidential race, at a press conference at Club Filipino, Green Hills, San Juan, September 1 2009. Senator Roxas has given way to his Liberal party-mate Sen. Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III as the standard bearer of the Liberal Party in the 2010 presidential elections.
